Social media star Jake Paul believes light heavyweight prospect Tommy Fury is still feeling the sting for withdrawing from their scheduled fight back in December of 2021.

The two rivals were set to collide in the main event of a Showtime pay-per-view card.

As the fight date was approaching, Fury withdrew with a rib injury and a chest infection.

He was replaced by former UFC world champion Tyron Woodley, who Paul brutally knocked out in the sixth.

“Tommy Fury pulling out of the fight with his illness is more embarrassing than him fighting and getting knocked out. It’s bad either way for him but this way this way for him will be a massive regret for the rest of his entire life," Paul told The Sun.

“He definitely seems very down though, he is complaining on Instagram about fans attacking him, claiming he didn’t fake an injury. He is clearly going through it.”

Paul is still doubting Fury's injury claim.

He points to comments that were made by Fury's older brother, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

During a media day, Tyson Fury boasted that his brother would beat Paul - even with a broken rib and a severe cold.

“I think they knew that day that they were going to use the broken rib as an excuse, so they leaked it," Paul said.

Tommy Fury wants to reschedule their fight as soon as possible. He was pushing to fight again by the month of March.

Paul is looking to return in the coming months, but he's not looking in Fury's direction at the moment.
