Two weeks ago on ESPN’s Friday Night Fights, broadcaster Teddy Atlas said that Rafal Jackiewicz’s win over Delvin Rodriguez from last November was one of the worst robberies he has ever witnessed.  When Polish fighter heard about it he could not believe his ears. Jackiewicz is well known for speaking out with anything that's on his mind and he did not hestitate to fire back at world famous trainer.

“I have two theories about Atlas saying this. First, he could have had a terrible hangover after a heavy party and he did not know what he was actually talking about. Second, he just watched the sixth round, twelve times, when I was down and hurt. That’s the only way he could see Rodriguez winning this fight. If Teddy is saying that everybody who watched that fight thought that Rodriguez won, they must have been at the same party as he was. I don’t care if these are words from an average fan or a respected trainer. If they are ridiculous and I know I am right, I will always react.” – said the #8 ranked welterweight by Ring Magazine.

Jackiewicz also mentioned his previous rival, Delvin Rodriguez, who is pointing out in every interview that he was robbed in Poland.

“Rodriguez is self-righteous arrogant fool, who should look at himself and not try to blame his loss on others. This fool could not knock me out in the sixth round when I was literally unconscious. If I win a title against Zaveck, I will talk to my promoters to let me fight him again in my first voluntary defense. This time I will not only win but I will make a complete mess of his pretty face. I will be very glad if mister Teddy Atlas could come to this fight and see on his very own eyes how Rodriguez is taking a beating. “  - stated Jackiewicz who was awarded unanimous decision win over Rodriguez by controlling the pace of the fight and surviving hard knockdown in round six.

The Polish fighter felt offended also by Atla's comment on his compatriot Albert Sosnowski. Atlas said that Sosnowski is second-tier fighter and should not last longer than two rounds with Vitali Klitschko.

“ I agree that Albert is not the favorite against Klitschko and his chances are very slim but for sure he is not second-tier fighter. When I am hearing something like this, I got a feeling that Atlas is second-tier expert. Sosnowski is European champion and he beat some good competition latetly”.

Rafal Jackiewicz is currently on the 21-fight winning streak. His next fight will be against IBF welterweight champion Jan Zaveck in Slovenia in early July.
