Bernard Hopkins is furious. The 47-year-old veteran believes he was robbed on Saturday night at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. He lost a twelve round majority decision, and the WBC light heavyweight title, a rematch with Chad Dawson (31-1, 17 KOs).

The rematch was ugly but it was Dawson who appeared to control most of the action with a busier and accurate pace. Hopkins (52-6-2), however, did not agree with the two judges who scored the fight 117-111 for Dawson. The third had it 114-114.

Hopkins felt the "political odds" were stacked against him. He won his last 15 fights in Atlantic City.

"What did he do to win that fight?" Hopkins said. "The only way I knew I would win is if I knocked him out. Let the public judge for themselves."
