Former two division champion David Haye (26-2, 24KOs), inactive since a 2012 TKO of Dereck Chisora, hopes to return to the ring for a motivated campaign to once again become the heavyweight champion.

Haye is very interested in facing the winner of the yet to be finalized fight between WBC heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne and mandatory challenger Deontay Wilder. The Stiverne-Wilder bout is expected to take place in the fall.

"Yeah, of course, definitely [I would be interested in facing the winner]," Haye told BoxingScene.com.

Haye sees the match as a 50-50 fight, but he's leaning in the direction of the heavy puncher - Wilder - who knocked out all of his 32 opponents in four rounds or less.

"[As far as the winner], you can make an argument for both guys. Wilder is a big puncher, undefeated and Stiverne fights very well from the middle-distance. Wilder has never been beaten. Stiverne has been beaten, so you normally go with the undefeated guy. Wilder has never lost so he doesn't know how to lose, and he has a fantastic record," Haye said.
