Robert Guerrero has quite the perspective when it comes to Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.

While “The Ghost” is known for his unanimous decision loss to Mayweather in 2013, it’s less publicized that he actually traveled to Pacquiao’s Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, California, for a few rounds back in 2005.

On Friday, Guerrero gave his take on the fight ahead of his Saturday night headliner on NBC against Keith Thurman.

“It could go either way, with how fast Manny is. It all comes down to his timing. If his timing’s on, he can catch Mayweather,” Guerrero told KNBR.com. “But if it’s not, Mayweather, I mean, he’s just so elusive in the ring.

“He does different things. You don’t have a rhythm, and he’s just so fast, in and out. And his reaction time, my God, and those hooks. But anything can happen, and everyone knows in boxing, one punch changes everything.”

Even when pressed about Pacquiao’s recent history, which includes a knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez, Guerrero finds the matchup so even that he can’t call a winner with certainty.

“I think it’s a pick’em fight,” the welterweight contender said.
