Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California - Junior welterweights Mercito Gesta (28-1-2, 16 KOs) and Carlos Molina (17-2-2, 7 KOs) fought to a ten round split draw in the FS1 televised main event. The scores were 95-95, 98-92 for Molina, and 96-94 for Gesta. The fight was a crossroads contest for both. Molina landed the better punches and Gesta often controlled the action with his jab and flashier displays of combinations. They traded often, with Molina landing some well placed counters.

Puerto Rico’s Jeffrey Fontanez (15-1, 12KOs) crushed Jose Hernandez (15-10-1, 7 KOs), who went down twice in the first before it was stopped.

Hot prospect Jason Quigley (6-0, 6KOs) drilled Joshua Snyder, (9-12-1, 3 KOs) in the second round of their super middleweight contest.

2012 Olympic Bronze medalist Yamaguchi Falcao, (6-0, 2 KOs) of Brazil boxed his way to an eight round unanimous decision over Gerardo Ibarra (14-3, 8 KOs). All three judges saw it 78-74. Falcao boxed well but he appeared to tire down the stretch and had to suck it up to hold on to game Ibarra stepping things up.
