German Universum Box Promotion, headed by Ismail Otto-Oezen, has signed a deal with DAZN, writes BILD.
The deal is for six shows beginning December 12 at the Universum event at the Grand Elysee Hotel in Hamburg in conjunction with WBC Convention held at the same hotel. And, as it happens, Universum has developed excellent connections with the WBC and every show features a few fights for a WBC subtitle.
Heavyweights Jose Larduet (13-0) and Mourad “White Wolf Aliev (12-0), middleweight Serkay Comart (8-0), light heavy Branimir Malenica (10-0) are all featured on the show at the Grand Elysee.

EBU junior middle champ Abass Baraou (16-1) has the mandatory defence against Milan Prat (24-1) heading for France on a EuroProm show with date and site to be announced after an agreement was reached by the parties involved.
Whether the Wasserman-promoted Baraou will go through with this high-risk defense remains to be seen though.

Ex-pro Timo Schwarzkopf (22-6 in his active days) is now a promoter and Schwarzkopf Boxing has WBA No. 13 super middle Simon Zachenhuber (24-0) headlining the event in Giengen an der Brenz on Saturday (November 2).
Zachenhube is in against Cristian Vaduva (6-0).

The Scandinavian Showdown in Espoo, Finland, November 16 is headlined by middleweight Ilari Kujala (8-0) who meets Spaniard Ayoub Zakari (5-5-1).
Hidden on the undercard is the comeback of Croatian cruiserweight Marko Calic (16-1).
Calic returned to “Olympic boxing” (‘amateur boxing’) last year in an attempt to make it to the Olympic Games in Paris but failed. Calic is promoted by Swedish Fight Life Promotions.

Danish amateur stars and brothers Nikolai and Sebastian Terteryan have written on social media that they are heading for Las Vegas ro turn pro over there.
The Terteryans will train at the Top Rank Gym and hinted at a contract with a major player in professional boxing.
