BoxingScene was live at the Gatti-Leija post-fight press conference and caught up with Arturo Gatti to get his thoughts on the upcoming fight with Floyd Mayweather on June 11th, 2005.

BoxingScene: Are you offended that Mayweather did not show up tonight to announce the fight for June?

Gatti: I really don't care. The fans are going to be here in June to see me fight, the place will be packed whether it's Floyd Mayweather across the ring or someone else.

BoxingScene: Your promoters have been abit concerned over Mayweather's legal problems.

Gatti: They stand in the way of the fight. If he doesnt take care of his legal problems then we could end up fighting someone else in June.

BoxingScene: Why are his legal issues such a concern?

(Someone from Main Events cutting in) If Mayweather goes to jail from these domestic abuse charges then the fight won't happen in June. Arturo will be here in June, ready to fight whoever is in front of him.

Gatti: It doesnt matter who I fight, Floyd isnt selling the tickets in this fight.

BoxingScene: If by chance the Mayweather fight falls apart, who would you choose to fight next?

Gatti: That's up to my promoters, I'll fight anybody that they put in the ring.
