Undefeated WBC heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury has offered to train his British rival, Anthony Joshua, for the upcoming rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.

Last month, Usyk outboxed Joshua over twelve rounds to capture the WBA, IBF, IBO and WBO heavyweight titles at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

There is an immediate rematch clause, which Joshua has exercised, and the second fight is taking place in the early months of 2022.

Several observers who picked Joshua to win the first encounter are now tabbing Usyk to come away with a victory in the rematch.

Fury feels confident that he can show Joshua exactly what to do to overcome the unbeaten Ukrainian.

“I believe if I train Anthony Joshua for the fight with Usyk then he’d definitely win the fight. Well, you know, I’ve offered my services to him, for me to train him for his rematch. And I guarantee you he’d win! I’d get him to fight like a big man," Fury told Ben Damon from Foxtel’s Main Event.

The loss to Usyk has derailed a potential full division unification that Fury and Joshua were hoping to have in the first half of the coming year.

Fury is back in the ring on Saturday night, when he faces former champion Deontay Wilder in a trilogy fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Should Fury win, he will likely take another fight to stay busy while waiting for the outcome of the Usyk vs. Joshua rematch.
