Former four division world champion Erik "El Terrible" Morales (52-8, 36KOs) has placed his career on the line in the upcoming rematch with WBA/WBC junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia (24-0, 15KOs). When they fought in March, Morales was dropped in the eleventh round and lost a twelve round unanimous decision. The rematch takes place on October 20th at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Before the first meeting, Morales claims his training camp was severely affected after undergoing gallbladder surgery. For the first time in his career he failed to make weight and lost his WBC title on the scale, which Garcia captured the following night.

He says everything is different and he expects to be at his best in October. If his best is not good enough, the 35-year-old fighter will walk away and retire.

"[If I lose I will] say goodbye to boxing. I'm in the home stretch of my career and I have the challenge of recovering my belt. It's an attractive confrontation and one that motivates me to prepare well," Morales said.
