Laredo Energy Arena, Laredo, Texas - Super featherweight prospect Erik De Leon (14-0, 8 KOs) stopped Aldimar Silva (19-11, 12 KOs) in three rounds. Silva went down three times before the fight was waved off.

The fight was De Leon's third for the year after picking up knockout wins in January and June.

Olympic silver medal winner Esquiva Falcao (15-0, 12 KOs) of Brazil stopped Josue Obando (14-12-1, 11KOs) in six rounds. Obando was unable to continue after the sixth was over. It was the third win of the year for Falcao, who picked up stoppage victories in March and May.

Welterweight prospect Arturo Marquez (5-0, 3 KOs), who is the son of former world champion Raul Marquez, won a four round unanimous decision over Stephen Bass (1-4, 0 KOs). The scores were 39-37, 39-37 and 40-36.

Marquez turned pro back in March. He stopped his first three opponents, and went to a four round majority decision in his last fight back on September 10.

Super featherweight prospect Jesse Garcia (5-0, 4 KOs) saw his knockout streak come to an end, as he dropped Gabriel Gutierrez (4-4, 3 KOs) in the fourth but he was unable to finish him off inside the distance. All three judges scored the fight 40-35.

Garcia turned pro last November and fought four times this year.
