Fans are expecting early fireworks when Vic Darchinyan (40-7-1, 29 KOs) looks for a big win to get his career back on track, by challenging feared puncher Jesus Cuellar (26-1, 20 KOs) of Argentina.

The fight is part of the Premier Boxing Champions on NBC, which takes place on Saturday, June 6 from StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. with televised coverage beginning at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT.

This fight will support the afternoon's main event, which pits former four-division world champion Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero (32-3-1, 18 KOs) against Aron Martinez (19-3-1, 14 KOs).

Darchinyan has faced some of the very best over the years, including Abner Mares, Jorge Arce, Cristian Mijares, Nonito Donaire, Nicholas Walters, and many others. He feels confident that his huge edge in experience will easily push him to victory.

"I will demolish this kid on Saturday, I have much more experience. [Cuellar] has no idea what's going to happen. I was a champion for many years and want to win another title. I will show everyone that I'm still capable on Saturday. We're going to see great fights and great action on Saturday. I'm ready to go and I hope everyone enjoys the fights," Darchinyan said.
