Fans are expecting early fireworks when Vic Darchinyan (40-7-1, 29 KOs) looks for a big win to get his career back on track, by challenging feared puncher Jesus Cuellar (26-1, 20 KOs) of Argentina.

The fight is part of the Premier Boxing Champions on NBC, which takes place on Saturday, June 6 from StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. with televised coverage beginning at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT.

This fight will support the afternoon's main event, which pits former four-division world champion Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero (32-3-1, 18 KOs) against Aron Martinez (19-3-1, 14 KOs).

Darchinyan's chin is prime for another crack at this point & at Featherweight. Cuellar will throw with conviction.

Offense: how many punches fired off per round
Defense: does he block punches with his face?
        Power: one-punch KO potential
Speed: typically quicker on the draw?
Movement: ability to escape cut offs and avoid opponent's strong hand
Chin: does he have a glass jaw?
Machismo: a boxer's "bark" before the fight, at the weigh in, during and after the fight. How far does he go to impose an air of invincibility on the opponent, as if he's facing Godzilla ?

        Vic Darchinyan

        Offense-10
        Defense-6
        Power-7
        Speed-5
        Movement-5
        Chin-6
        Machismo-10

Despite some humbling losses in recent years, remains one of the biggest egos in the sport ...awkward fighting stance...extremely aggressive

Prediction: loss by mid rounds KO to Jesus Cuellar

even at 39 he could probably still beat quiggy boy. He's too high risk even for quiggy boy to fight. darch should get back down a few weight classes.

He is past his best but a 6/1 underdog vs a relative unknown who has been stopped by a 5ft1 super bantamweight gatekeeper?

I don't even care to study him will happy go blind here and chuck a little change on Darchinyan.
