Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida - In his second fight of 2017, undefeated Puerto Rican featherweight Christopher ‘Pitufo’ Diaz (21-0, 13 KOs) picked up a third round knockout over late replacement Jose Estrella (18-12-1, 12 KOs).

Diaz was in action back in February, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he stopped veteran Efrain Esquivias in seven rounds.

Jean Carlos Rivera (11-0, 6 KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over Jesus Pacheco (7-6, 1 KOs). All three judges scored it 79-73. Rivera was also in action back February, when he knocked out Robert Corea in four rounds.

Puerto Rican Olympian Jeyvier Cintron (1-0) made his pro debut and won a four round unanimous decision over Leonardo Reyes (6-13, 2 KOs). Cintron is trained by former world champion Ivan Calderon.

Cintron is the first and only two-time Olympic boxer from Puerto Rico having competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics and 2016 Summer Olympics as a flyweight. He recently signed a promotional agreement with Top Rank.

2016 Rio Olympian Teofimo Lopez (4-0, 4 KOs) stopped Jorge Munduia (12-9) in two rounds. It was Lopez's third fight of the year. He turned pro last November as part of the Manny Pacquiao vs. Jessie Vargas card at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Another Rio Olympian, Antonio Vargas (2-0, 2 KOs), blasted out Emilio Rivera in the opening round of action. Vargas made his pro debut back in February.

Welterweight “Hurricane” Sammy Valentin (12-0, 8 KOs) blasted out Luis Florez (22-7, 18 KOs) in the first round. Valentin was also in action last month, when he picked up another first round knockout over Jesus Rodriguez for the interim-WBO Latino championship.

Last year, Valentin stayed very busy and saw himself in action five times, which included two six round decision wins and three knockout victories - including a fourth round stoppage last March over veteran fighter Cosme Rivera and a four round knockout of undefeated prospect Joaquin De La Rosa in October..
