According to those involved with the promotion, the interim super bantamweight world champion of the World Boxing Association (WBA), Nehomar Cermeno, will go against Carlos "Mina" Zambrano on August 9th in Peru. The fight was previously announced for July 19th. Cermeno (22-5, 13KOs), 34-years-old, has been out of the ring since April 19. He was scheduled earlier this year to face full champion Scott Quigg, but the fight fell through. Meanwhile, Zambrano, 29-years-old, is unbeaten in 23 fights and 11 of those win came by way of knockout.
