Undefeated junior welterweight Cain Sandoval will meet veteran Romero Duno in a “Hollywood Fight Nights” headliner on Aug. 31.

They will fight over 10 rounds on a bill that includes the return of popular junior bantamweight Daniel “Chucky” Barrera, who will take on former world title challenger Garen Diagan.

Sacramento’s Sandoval (13-0, 11 KOs) won a 10-round unanimous decision over perennial contender Javier Molina in February. In April, his pressure led to another 10-round points win over Angel Rebollar.

Twenty-eight-year-old Duno (26-4, 0 KOs), from Miami, has fought top-level opposition throughout his 10-year career, including fights against Ryan Garcia, Frank Martin and Christian Gonzalez. Duno lost a 10-rounder to Antonio Moran in January.

Barrera (7-0-1, 4 KOs), from Riverside, California, will make his fourth outing at the Chumash Casino Resort, where a huge crowd of his supporters is expected to be present for a scheduled eight-rounder with Diagan (10-4, 5 KOs), from General Santos City, Philippines.

Barrera won a dominant eight-round decision over contender Christian Robles in June, while Diagan will return to action following a title clash against Oscar Collazo last August.

Additionally, undefeated southpaw light heavyweight Umar Dzambekov (8-0, 5 KOs), of Los Angeles, will meet San Antonio’s Edward Jeramie Ortiz (13-1-2, 5 KOs). The 26-year-old Dzambekov won an eight-round unanimous decision over Frederic Julan in November at Madison Square Garden in New York City, while Ortiz is coming off a shutout decision over undefeated Symari Alexander in May.

Scheduled in an eight-round middleweight fight, former Kazak national amateur standout Sadriddin Akhmedov (13-0, 11 KOs), now residing in Los Angeles, will fight for the first time in the United States against Antonio Todd (17-10, 9 KOs), of Atlanta.
