This coming Saturday, Panamanian Celestino "Pelenchín" Caballero challenges the WBA world featherweight champion Jonathan "Yoni" Barros of Argentina. Caballero has arrived in Mendoza, accompanied by his trainer, Jeff Mayweather, his wife and his doctor Roniel Mitzelda Rudas, former WBA super bantamweight world champion, spoke with more sports. Caballero spoke with BoxingScene.com/NotiFight.com about the upcoming fight.

What expectations do you have?

I thank God for all my titles that I earned outside of my country. I am very well prepared. For this fight I had a super preparation and for me this is very important. I am 35 years old and I have a great goal to meet, and I'm just waiting for that big day. It's very big to be crowned champion at age 35 for a Panamanian. I think only two have done it: Roberto Duran and Guillermo Jhons. I can become the third or fourth Panamanian champion to win titles in two different categories. Also, that day I will fulfill the 6 year of marriage to my wife. It's a super day and I believe that God has made it so.

As I said to the press, I'm going to give it to him harder than I gave it to Steve Molitor. Barros awakened something in me that I only felt with Puerto Rican Juan Manuel Lopez. This fight was a mandatory. He was not going to fight me, but the fight was inevitable and that instinct of a killer, that I had against Juan Manuel Lopez, has awoken.

I just hope he doesn't run. He says I'm mouthy. I'm going to stop at the center of the ring and hopefully when I start hitting, we'll see who has the big mouth. I've come here to give an excellent show and to see who has the big mouth. I hope he doesn't run around the ring and I have to chase him, like the cat and the mouse.
