Rabobank Theater, Bakersfield - In a crossroads battle at super middleweight, Alfredo Angulo (26-7, 21 KOs) picked up one of his biggest wins in years with a ten round split decision victory over former world champion Peter Quillin (34-2-1, 23 KOs). The scores were 96-94 for Quillin, 97-93 for Angulo and 96-94 for Angulo.

This was only Angulo's third fight since 2016, and it was Quillin's fourth fight since 2015.

This is Quillin's fourth bout at 168-pounds, and Angulo has been fighting above 160 for his last seven fights, since 2014.
