REIGNING IBF and WBC light welterweight champion Devon Alexander can be backed at just 1-9 on Betfair to successfully retain his titles at the Scottrade Centre, St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday.

Alexander faces former WBA light welterweight champ Andriy Kotelnik, who, at 10-1, is largely unfancied. The Ukrainian returns to the ring for the first time since his July 2009 defeat at the hands of Amir Khan.

Fighting in his home town of St. Louis, unbeaten Alexander is available at 9-5 to add another KO to his record, while Kotelnik is an 8-1 chance to win the bout via knockout.

Betfair’s Alex Bake said: “This is a tough comeback fight for Kotelnik and the odds are really stacked against him. Alexander is unbeaten in 20 bouts with 13 knockouts to his name, that’s why the punters are backing him to win on Saturday night.”
