On April 30th light heavyweight contenders Edwin Rodriguez (28-1) and Thomas Williams Jr. (19-1) will square off at the StubHub Center on Carson. California.

The winner will not only move up higher in the rankings but will likely be looking at the biggest fight of their career in the summer.

BoxingScene.com caught up with WBC and lineal light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson (27-1) who revealed some of the details of his next ring appearance.

"I am going to be returning in July. I am going to be watching the Rodriguez-Williams Jr. fight. I am probably going to fight the winner. We are going to watch the fight on April 30th and probably Al Haymon is going to make that fight happen," said Stevenson.

Rodriguez and Williams both have good power and have both been down on the canvas on multiple occasions. Stevenson feels that either man can come out on top and looks forward to facing one of them in his first ring appearance of the year.

"They are both power punchers. It is interesting because both guys can punch. I think it will be an exciting fight and I will watch it for sure," Stevenson told BoxingScene.com.

Even though he is getting a late start to 2016, Stevenson said, "I still plan on fighting two times this year. With (a fight on December 19th, 2014) last year was like I fought three times. I want to fight two times this year," Stevenson stated.
