To prepare for his signed battle with one of the Klitschko brothers, which is scheduled for September, former two division champion Tomasz Adamek (43-1, 28 KOs) could possible face one of two opponents on April 16 in Poland. Sources tell BoxingScene.com/Bokser.org that 6'6 Kevin McBride (35-8-1, 29 KOs) and 6'6 Nicolai Firtha (19-8-1, 8 KOs) are being considered to face Adamek, although other names are being looked at as well.

There have been some objections about having to fight Adamek in Poland. If these problems persist, Adamek's management could be forced to find a suitable venue in the United States in April or early May to stage the fight.

Earlier this week, Adamek signed a contract to face one of the Klitschko brothers in September in Poland. It is likely going to be IBO/IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, but if he loses to Dereck Chisora on April 30, or gets injured, then the opponent could become WBC champion Vitali Klitschko, who faces Odlanier Solis on March 19.
