It all happened very quickly and efficiently. In less than two weeks after my last fight against Nagy Aguilera, my promoters [prepared another fight] and I signed a contract to fight Eddie Chambers (36-2, 18KOs). The fight is scheduled for the 16th of June at the Prudential Center in Newark, a venue that I know very well. NBC Sports Network will broadcast the fight in America. In Poland, as usual, I expect the fight will be carried by Polsat.

The pace of doing things fast only testifies to the good work of the people responsible for the planning of my [run for] the heavyweight belt. Eddie Chambers is a famous top American boxer at heavyweight. He is known for impeccable technique and good speed in throwing punches. For a long time he's been listed high in the rankings of the various sanctioning bodies.

It's going to be a good and quick fight for both of us [and the winner] will get closer to a fight for the title. I am glad that I'm fighting again at the magical hall of the Prudential Center, where I've repeatedly fought and won in the past.

Because I've signed the contract and the fight is not that far away, we have to start training soon. Immediately after Easter, I will go to St. Louis for the first portion of the technical phase with trainer Roger Bloodworth. The entire training cycle should last 7-8 weeks. Chambers' fighting style is well known, and therefore I can [prepare] without watching his fights on video. I must prepare for a difficult fight, for a quick and a very demanding opponent. It will be a great show. Chambers was at my fight against Nagy Aguilera in Brooklyn, and saw me fight live. How he plans to use these observations in the ring - we'll see.

To give you some information about my [left hand] injury. The swelling on my left hand went down and I almost don't feel any pain when landing punches. I am very happy with the treatment, which was recommended by Dr. Chester Melone. I want to wish everyone a happy and healthy Easter.
