Rising Polish cruiserweight star Adam Balski acquired by far his biggest career win by getting through experienced former interim titlist-turned-gatekeeper Valery Brudov of Russia. Balski controlled the action but Brudov, who once held WBA interim title, gave him fits… up until the fifth. It’s where his power started to tell as he went right at his 39-year old opponent, and dropped him hard.

Brudov (43-10, 29 KOs) got up only to see more damage from Balski, who soon forced a stoppage at 2:53 of the round. The Pole improves to 7-0, 6 KOs.

Light heavyweight Rober Parzeczewski (14-1, 8 KOs) smoked Georgian import Beka Aduashvili (18-6, 8 KOs) in round for, while Polish female talent Ewa Brodnicka improved her record to 11-0, 2 KOs, after a unanimous decision (80-72 x3) over another Georgian Lela Terashvili (7-4-1, 3 KOs). She is best known for her win over recently crowned light middleweight champion Ewa Piatkowska a year ago.
