Unbeaten heavyweight contender Sullivan Barrera (17-0, 12 KOs) is confident of upsetting one of the best fighters in the world, Andre Ward (28-0, 15 KOs), when they face each other later tonight.

They are set to collide at the Oracle Arena in Oakland. The bout will be televised live on HBO World Championship Boxing® beginning at 9:45 p.m. ET/PT.

NABF featherweight champion Joseph "Jojo" Diaz Jr. (19-0, 11 KOs) and top-rated featherweight contender Jayson "Star" Velez (23-1-1, 16 KOs) will clash in 10-round fight which will open up the HBO telecast.

Barrera is trained by Abel Sanchez, who trains numerous top fighters like middleweight king Gennady Golovkin.

Sanchez likes Barrera's chances to get the upset - with this being Ward's first official fight at 175, Ward's inactivity over the years and Ward's injuries.

"I think at this point size is a big plus for us. Sullivan is a guy that works to get down to 175lbs, he’s a big light heavyweight. Andre is a super middleweight that has fought at a higher weight but he is a super middleweight. I think that will be an advantage and we have to use that in the fight, we have to muscle him and we have to make sure that we rough him up. It’s a twelve round fight so who knows what could happen in twelve rounds," Sanchez told On The Ropes Boxing Radio.

"I think we have a great shot at Andre. Andre hasn’t fought in a while and his opposition has been very limited. He’s had some injuries and some operations, so all that is a bunch of pluses for us. We’re very aware of the fact that we’re fighting one of the best fighters in the world, but we’re going to give it everything we got and hopefully that night the Sullivan that I thought that we had shows up that night and upsets one of the best fighters in the world."
