Zelfa Barrett and Joe Pigford have each had their next fight dates announced.

The pair, who campaign at super-featherweight and super-welterweight respectively, will be back in action next month.

Barrett, the current English champion at 130lbs, and Pigford, who looks set to face Asinia Byfield in a mandated eliminator for the British title at 154lbs, have both been added to promoter Frank Warren’s first show of 2018.

They will return on February 10, exclusively live on BT Sport and BoxNation, at the Copper Box Arena in London.

Barrett (19-0, 12 KOs) is 24 and has been out since winning the vacant English crown with a stoppage victory over Chris Conwell back in October at the First Direct Arena in Leeds.

Pigford, meanwhile, is a hard hitter with a record of 13 wins with 12 early but hasn’t boxed since last May when he knocked out Aarron Morgan at the same venue as he will return at in just over four weeks’ time.

Zolani Tete will headline the card after his last outing, an 11-second knockout victory over fellow South African Siboniso Gonya at the SSE Arena in Belfast last November to retain his WBO bantamweight world title.

Tete, who is a former super-flyweight titlist, will face the number one contender Omar Andres Narvaez over 12 rounds in what will be the second defence of the crown.

Narvaez is also a former holder of a world title in the 115-pound division, he had the WBO belt, but was knocked out by Japan’s Naoya Inoue inside two rounds and has since gone on a four-fight winning streak since.

Also on the card, Bradley Skeete, the outright British welterweight champion, will return on the bill alongside WBO European and WBO Inter-Continental light-heavyweight champion Anthony Yarde and undefeated heavyweight talent Daniel Dubois.

Boxing Scene understands that Harvey Horn, the ex-Team GB starlet who turned professional towards the back end of last year, will fight for the second time in the paid ranks, while there is action for Archie Sharp, Hamzah Sheeraz and Boy Jones Jr, who will make his debut in the lightweight division.

Umar Sadiq, a float on the last Copper Box card who failed to get on due to time constraints, has been added and featherweight prospect Ryan Garner along with lightweight debutant Mohammed Bilal Ali complete the card as it stands.

Further details regarding the card will be revealed in due course.
