On Friday, Eye of the Tiger Management (EOTTM) staged their first Quebec event in front of an audience in over a year.

The event, presented by La Reine des Bières, Mise-O-Jeu and Videotron, was held in front of a crowd of nearly 1,500 people at the Centre Gervais Auto in Shawinigan.

In the headline bout, Yves Ulysse Jr. picked up a stoppage win over David Théroux. From the first bell, Ulysse took the fight to his opponent and managed to send him to the floor in the third round.

Although at times being overwhelmed by a very mobile Ulysse, Theroux never lost hope and tried, as best he could, to get to Ulysse by trapping him on the ropes on several occasions.

However, it was in the fifth round that Ulysse put an end the Sorel native as his trainers decided to stop the fight.

In the co-feature of the evening, Clovis Drolet faced a much bigger boxer in Danyk Croteau.

In the early moments of the fight, Clovis seemed to study his opponent and had to endure some good attacks from Croteau who reached him through his guard.

However, Drolet's clan quickly adjusted and the Beauport native managed to defeat Croteau in the third round in spectacular fashion.

In addition, Raphael Courchesne was having his tenth fight and was looking to get back to winning ways against the powerful Ontario boxer, Larone Whyte.

At the beginning of the fight, Whyte was very aggressive but was not able to destabilize Courchesne. Courchesne remained focused on his goal and was able to end the fight with the knockout of the night. It was with a combination repeated several times in the gym (left jab to the body followed by a left hook to the head) that the athlete nicknamed "Bad Intentions" put his opponent to sleep.

Without even starting the eight count, the referee immediately put an end to the fight in the fifth round.
