Light heavyweight contender Yusaf Mack (31-8-2, 17KOs) of Philadelphia is caught in a scandal that has rocked the boxing scene in his area.

According to an interview with the Philadelphia Daily News, Mack claims he was drugged and then violated by an adult film company in New York City. He says the company reached out to him on Facebook and offered him a role in one on their videos.

The father of 10 was strapped for cash and agreed to take part in the film. He traveled to a location in the Bronx for the shoot. He said there were naked women walking around.

"I think, ''It's about to go down," he told Philly.com. "I needed a drink or something. They gave me a pill and a shot of vodka. I took the pill down with the vodka."

Mack claims he has no memory from that point on and remembers waking up on a train heading back home, with $4,500 in his pocket.

Earlier this month, Mack became aware of the video when numerous friends began avoiding him. One friend pulled him aside and informed him that an adult video was circulating on the internet, and the video showed Mack engaging in explicit sexual acts with two men.

Eventually Mack says he realized that had happened. He claims the pill he had taken was a ecstasy-type drug that made his memory black out.

"The only time I touch a man is when I'm in the ring fighting. I'm just hurt right now,' he told the local paper. 'I can't really sleep at night, but I'm getting by. Everybody thinks I'm going to hurt myself. I've got to stay strong for my children.'

"All my real friends who really know me, know I like females. I'm still me. You've got to realize that the ones that are not really talking to me are the ones that probably have skeletons in their closets."

“My whole life, I’ve been what they call a whoremonger. I love females."

Mack is now planning a lawsuit against the adult film company that hired him, but says the legal process has been difficult because he's been unable to track down the individual who initially hired him.
