Featherweight contender Yuandale Evans (18-1) came back from an absence of over three years with two wins over nondescript competition during my the second half of 2015.

He advised BoxingScene.com that he is a free agent and in the market for both a promoter and a manager.

"I was out in Las Vegas to train and show my talents and everybody is talking about doing something but no one is committing in a contract. Nobody is submitting a contract to me," said Evans.

"I actually just talked to (Lou) DiBella not too long ago and he took my idea of getting a tune up and then a big fight and he said he will call me next week. I've been in contact with (Al) Haymon and Cameron Dunkin. I'm training with Miguel Diaz.  Basically that is what I got going on right now. Get a tune up then a big fight."

Before his long layoff, the Ohio native had built his record up to 16-0 before  being stopped by former champion Javier Fortuna. Evans said that he is still interested in fighting for a title at featherweight but wants to capture one a division below first.

"I want to win a title at 122 and then move up and takeover 126. I wanna turn up 26 then go to 22," Evans explained.

One of his targets is unbeaten contender Jessie Magdaleno. According to Evans, the #1 WBO rated super bantamweight not only rejected a fight with him but also refused to spar wth him.

"We called Jessie Magdaleno out but they turned us down and didn't want to take that risk versus a big puncher and that they were looking at bigger fish like Nonito Donaire Jr.  I respected that but then again I don't. Me as Jessie trained at the same gym and I asked him if we could get some sparring and it was, 'no.'  So I am not really worrying about those guys."

Evans is still only 27-years-old and feels that he has a lot left to give the sport - if given the opportunity. He is very active on social media and said that any parties interested in promoting or managing him can reach him over the phone or via social media.

"I've been in the ring with guys like Rau'shee Warren an Gervontae Davis. I've been in the ring with guys from DC and Cleveland where I am from. I've been in the ring with a million guys but sparring doesn't get you anywhere at all. Basically I am just staying ready," Evans told BoxingScene.com.
