French cruiserweight Siril Makiadi (13-2-2) arrived late to Mainz, Germany, Friday evening but weighed in and he and his team also attended the rules meeting that was held on Saturday for his fight for the vacant WBA Continental cruiser title against German Leon Harth (20-5).

However, later Makiadi and his coach left the hotel and disappeared. Makiadi never came to the arena and was just gone. As it was Harth was declared WBA Continental champ but for promoter (and former fighter) Alexander Petkovic the event ended in a fiasco.

On top of it all the co-feature, a fight for the WBFed light heavy title between Shefat Isufi and Deniz Altz fell apart days before when Altz pulled out and Isufi fought a late sub in Bernard Donfack and his best days are far behind him

In Erding, just north of Munich, Faecher Sport and AGON Sports joined forces for final IBF eliminator at super middleweight between William Scull (19-0) and Evgeny Shvedenko (now 15-1). Scull won clearly on points on scores of 117-111 twice and 118-110.

Junior middleweight "Golden" Jack Culcay (31-4) outscored Italian boxer Emanuele Cavallucci (13-6-1) over ten on the big undercard.

Middleweight Simon Zachenhuber (17-0) beat Frenchman Mbemba Miesi (8-7-4) over ten to win the vacant International German (BDB version) title.
