Former world title challenger Wilky Campfort won an 11 round unanimous decision over Paul Valenzuela late Friday night at the Karibe Convention Center in Petionville, Haiti.

Campfort improved to 23-3, 12 KOs, while Valenzuela falls to 20-5, 14 KOs.

Campfort, who claimed a regional title bout with the victory over Valenzuela, is best known for losing to then-IBF junior middleweight titleholder Jermall Charlo in November of 2015.

The Haitian-born fighter has won his last two bouts.

Valenzuela's three-bout winning streak was snapped with the loss to Campfort.

In an upset, light heavyweight contender Azea Augustama lost by split decision to Gusmyr Perdomo, who entered the bout Friday night having lost four of his previous six bouts.

Augustama, who is ranked number 12 by the WBA, drops to 20-3, 12 KOs. Perdomo, who hails from Colombia, wins a regional title belt and goes to 24-7, 16 KOs.

Evans Pierre (28-1, 18 KOs), who is ranked number six by the WBA, stopped Alfonso Perez (12-9, 9 KOs) in round eight. Pierre, who resides in nearby Port-au-Prince, has won his last 16 bouts, a span of almost seven years.
