Weights are set for the second comeback fight of a former WBC heavyweight champion of the world Oleg Maskaev (37-7, 28 KOs), who faces American journeyman Jason Gavern (21-14-4, 10 KOs) tomorrow at Mordovia Sports Complex in Saransk, Russia. Tonight both combatants were way over the limit, with the Big O tipping the scales at 251.8 lbs, and Gavern weighing in at 245 pounds. Gavern vs. Maskaev will be the main event of the night of boxing, promoted co-jointly by Kirill Pchelnikov of Pushka Promotions, Evgueny Vainstein of the Ural Boxing Promotions and Igor Shafer of the Neva Glove Promotions.

Six more fights, including the WBC Baltic title affair between middleweight Andrey Meryasev (13-0, 11 KOs) and Alvaro Gaona (12-2, 7 KOs) will constitute the undercard of the show.
