All systems are go for the super bantamweight showdown between unbeaten titlist Carl Frampton and challenger Chris Avalos. Both fighters made weight for their alphabet title fight, which takes place Saturday evening at Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Frampton weighed in right at the 122 lb. divisional limit, while Avalos was just below at 121.9 lb.

The clash represents the first title defense for Frampton (19-0, 13KOs), who claimed the belt in his 12-round points win over Kiko Martinez in their celebrated rematch last September. Frampton had previously stopped Martinez in nine rounds in their first meet, but was forced to work harder in their non-stop sequel, coming up big in his first career title fight.

Saturday's contest at Odyssey Arena - which airs live on AWE (A Wealth of Entertainment) in the United States and ITV in the United Kingdom - marks Frampton's sixth career appearance at the venue, including five within his past six contests.

Avalos (25-2, 19KOs) fights outside of the U.S. for the second time in his past three fights. The Californian hit the road for his official title eliminator, scoring an 8th round knockout of Yasatuka Ishimoto last May in Macau, China.
