The President of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), Puerto Rico's Francisco "Paco" Valcarcel, has promised that a fourth meeting will take place between two of his champions, Manny Pacquiao (54-3, 38KOs) and Juan Manuel Marquez (53-6, 39KOs). The two fighters met for a third time in November at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, with Pacquiao winning a controversial twelve round majority decision. Pacquiao is the WBO's champion at 147, while Marquez still holds the WBO's belt at 135. They fought in November at a catch-weight of 144.

"Whether it takes place in May or November of 2012, I guarantee that Juan Manuel Marquez will get his fourth fight against Manny Pacquiao," said Valcárcel.

Marquez would like to face Pacquiao on May 5th, Cinco De Mayo weekend, but doesn't want the fight to take place in Las Vegas. He prefers Mexico or a neutral venue in Texas.
