As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, the Championship Committee of the World Boxing Association has ordered a direct and immediate rematch between champion 135 pound, the Colombian Darley Perez and British challenger Anthony Crolla.

The fight was held on July 18 as a voluntary defense for Perez and ended with controversial cards of 113-113, 113-113, 116-111. No knockdowns, but Perez was penalized two points during the action.

The cards were initially announced as 114-113, 113-113, 116-111.

Additionally, the Cuba's Richar Abril has lost his status as "champion in recess" - which he received by way of a resolution published on  April 9, 2015. In that resolution, he was ordered to fight Perez before August 7, 2015.

Abril initially lost his full world title for inactivity and failing to make any mandatory defenses of his title.
