Rapidly rising Russian super middleweight Maxim Vlasov (18-0, 9 KOs) will come back to the ring on Sep. 18 in Taskhent, Uzbekistan, to collide with Kazakh Muslim Mikhail “Al-Khattab” Kirinitsin (9-1-2, 5 KOs) for a vacant WBC Asian Boxing Council 168lb title.

Vlasov, an exciting boxer-puncher, brought himself into contention with several scintillating kayos in the States against well-known veterans like Johnathon Reid, Julius Fogle and, recently, Jerson Ravelo. Interestingly, being 11-0, with just 3 KOs, in Russia, Vlasov is 7-0, 6 KOs, overseas. Krinitsin has never defeated a notable opponent, his only loss being a one-sided unanimous decision to light heavyweight slugger Roman Simakov.
