Minsk - In the main event of another installment of the Al Siesta-promoted (this time in association with Camille Estephan and MelBet), young Russian Vladimir Myshev (11-0, 6 KOs) scored an uneventful eight-round unanimous decision over defensive-minded and defensively-potent Alexander Cazares (16-14, 7 KOs).

Myshev was a bit better than the Spain-based Mexican but too inactive to cause him any troubles.

Cazares was rarely seen going at it but when he did he looked on even terms with a younger fighter, except for the last two or three rounds. Cazares has never been stopped before, and he has never been in danger of being halted tonight.

Light middleweight power puncher Artem Oganesyan, a Russia-based, Canada-trained Armenian, scored a late, last-round stoppage in a scheduled ten-rounder against very durable Kazakhstani Alexander Zhuravskiy (13-7-1, 11 KOs) with just 13 seconds remaining in the fight.

In a battle of two hard-hitting southpaws, Oganesyan, 21, started fast, pouring on the Kazakhstani with solid shots, landing jabs a bit rarely.

Zhuravskiy, 35, was a bit stationary early on but began to find his timing in the third, ending the round in style, scoring with several hard counter-punches.

Gradually, Oganesyan began to overcome his opponent in the middle rounds by landing more and landing harder, Zhuravskiy, who has never been stopped before, did his best to stay in the game but was a bit too clumsy and too slow. He also had his nose bleeding by the mid-point. As the rounds went by, Oganesyan became more and more superior to his opponent though Zhuravskiy was also dangerous in certain counters.

Late into the tenth, Oganesyan rocked his opponent with a huge punch, then landed a straight left followed by a hard right hook, which had Zhuravskiy down. Surprisingly, the referee called the end right away despite the renowned durability of the Kazakh fighter. Eye of the Tiger-promoted Oganesyan moves up to 12-0, with 10 KOs.

Super featherweight Ali Bagautinov (2-0) scored a convincing unanimous decision over four rounds against local debutant Andrey Kalechits (0-1). Bagautinov, 35, debuted as a pro over seven years ago. He is best known as the martial artist rather than a pure boxer.

Alan Abaev (1-0, 1 KO) TKO 2 Andrey Dologozhiev (10-42-2, 8 KOs). Time of stoppage: 2:38

Magomed Rasulov (1-0) UD 4 Vladimir Kharkevich (3-19-1, 3 KOs)
