Vivian Harris snapped a losing streak and got a measure of revenge Saturday night, defeating DeMarcus 'Chop Chop' Corley by unanimous decision at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee.

It was a clash between two former world titleholders who are well past their prime, but continue their attempt to defy Father Time, although it is best if they hang up their gloves for good.

Harris was the sharper puncher of the two, initiating exchanges and scoring with right hands to the head of the southpaw Corley.

Scores were 116-112, 116-112, and 118-110 for Harris, who won a regional title belt and snapped a three-bout losing streak.

Harris is originally from Guyana and now resides in the Brooklyn, N.Y. area.

Harris (33-12-2, 19 knockouts) had not fought in 14 months, when he lost a close 10 round unanimous decision to Corley. In that bout, the 40-year-old Harris dropped Corley in the opening round, before getting knocked down himself in round seven.

Corley (51-31-1, 28 KOs), who turned 44 on June 3, split his next four bouts since his victory over Harris. The Washington, D.C. resident's most noteworthy bout of late was an eight round decision loss to Henry 'Hank' Lundy on Feb. 10.

Super middleweight Lanell Bellows (18-2-2 1 NC, 11 KOs) stopped veteran Lamar Harris (9-16-4, 5 KOs) at 48 seconds of the fourth round.

The promoter of Saturday night's card was Langston Hampton, Jr.
