Michael Acri Boxing Promotions presented the 24th Annual Erie Boxing Classic on December 10th at the Avalon Hotel in Erie, PA. In the main event, Buffalo’s Vincent Arroyo 7-0 scored a sensational second round KO at fifty-three seconds of the second round over Columbus, Ohio’s Nelson Romine 9-2-2. Arroyo had his mouthpiece knocked out by a right hand and after the break, Arroyo threw a classic hook that knocked Romine out.

On the undercard, Erie Heavyweight Rocky Mullolly 2-2 was stopped by Cleveland’s Justin Riegle 2-0 at one minute and fifty seconds of the fourth round after winning the first three rounds.

Other results - Pittsburgh’s Heavyweight Tim Williamson 16-2 won a six round decision over Jackson Michigan’s Mike Jones 4-16.

Pro Debuts - Justin Johnson of Clariton, PA and Elkkhart, Indiana’s Sam Gipson fought to a four round draw.

Guillermo Sanchez 5-0 from Dunkirk, NY KO’d Rasool Shakoor 2-5 from Jackson, Michigan at one minute twenty nine seconds of the second round.
