Victor Salazar catches up with junior middleweight/middleweight contender Willie Monroe Jr. to get his thoughts on Miguel Cotto vs. Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, Cotto's performance against Daniel Geale on Saturday night at Barclays Center, Monroe discusses his future and HBO requesting him back on the network and more.

Monore was in action last month, making his HBO debut when he challenged Golovkin for the WBA/IBO middleweight titles at the The Forum in Los Angeles, California. Monroe did well and managed to land some telling punches on Golovkin, but eventually he was broken down by constant pressure and harder punches, and saw himself get stopped in the sixth round of action.

Trainers like Freddie Roach believe Monroe was able to expose some of Golovkin's flaws during the contest.
