Ryan Burton catches up with Shane Mosley to discuss his rematch with Ricardo Mayorga on August 29th in Los Angeles.

Shane Mosley, who fought Mayorga on July 18, 2008, in Carson, California, winning by knockout after consistently going toe to toe with Mayorga through 12 rounds, has held world titles in three weight divisions, IBF lightweight title, Lineal, WBC, WBA (Super) welterweight titles, and Lineal, WBC, WBA (Super), and The Ring magazine's light-middleweight titles and was named Ring magazine's pound for pound best fighter in the world in 2000 and 2001. 

Mosley has defeated some of the biggest names in boxing including Oscar De La Hoya (twice), Antonio Margarito, and Fernando Vargas, among others. He has also battled world-renowned boxing champions Floyd Mayweather, Jr., Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto. In 1998 Boxing Writers Association of America selected him as "Fighter of the Year" and he was given the same honor from the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2000. Mosley officially announced his retirement in 2013.
