Over 3,000 tickets have been sold for the September 10 card at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., K2 Promotions' Managing Director Tom Loeffler told BoxingScene.com last week.

The main event will feature Carlos Cuadras (35-0-1, 27 KOs) of Mexico defending his WBC junior bantamweight title against Roman Gonzalez of Nicaragua.

A win over Cuadras will give Gonzalez (45-0, 38 KOs) a world title belt in four weight divisions.

Also fighting on the card will be the 10 round junior middleweight bout between Jesus Soto-Karass (28-10-4, 18 KOs) and Yoshihiro Kamegai (26-3-2, 23 KOs). The fight is a rematch of their exciting 10 round split decision draw on April 15.

"There are still a number of $25 and $50 tickets that are still available," Loeffler told Boxingscene.com. "We anticipate a large walk-up in the week leading up to the fight, so fans should get their tickets now."

Loeffler says the venue on September 10 will be scaled to hold approximately 7,000 people.

Back on April 23, a sold-out crowd of 16,353 witnessed Gennady Golovkin score a second round knockout over Dominic Wade.

Golovkin will fight earlier in the day on September 10 against Kell Brook at the O2 Arena in London, England. Loeffler said fight fans attending the Cuadras-Gonzalez fight in Inglewood can arrive early to watch the live HBO telecast (2:30 p.m. PT) from the Terrace area of The Forum.

Preliminary action at The Forum will begin at approximately 4:30 p.m. local time.
