(video by Ryan Burton) - Super middleweight contender Edger Berlanga was ringside at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and watched Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (57-1-2, 39 KOs) become the undisputed champion at 168-pounds with a sensational knockout of unbeaten Caleb Plant (21-1, 12 KOs) in the eleventh round.

Canelo unifies the entire super middleweight division in a year's time. He captured the WBC, WBA titles back in December with a dominating decision win over Callum Smith. He then added the WBO titles back in May, when he stopped Billy Joe Saunders in eight rounds after fracturing his orbital bone.

Plant held the last remaining piece of the puzzle, the IBF title, and now Canelo is one of the few undisputed champions in the entire sport.
