MGM Grand, Las Vegas - The weights are in and the talking is over for Saturday's Showtime Pay-Per-View event. The main event will feature former champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (43-1-1, 31KOs) taking on WBA 'regular' junior middleweight champion Erislandy Lara (19-1-2, 12KOs). The fight takes place at a catch-weight of 155-pounds. Canelo looked a bit dry but weighed in at 155, and Lara was in excellent shape with a ripped 155-pounds on the scale.

Former three division world champion Abner Mares came in at 126.5-pounds, and Jonathan Oquendo also came in at 126.5. The contract weight for the fight is 127-pounds. Former two-division champion Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez was 130-pounds, and undefeated Francisco Vargas came in one pound lighter at 129. WBA interim-junior welterweight champion Johan Perez came in at the division limit of 140-pounds, and challenger Mauricio Herrera also came in at 140.
