With more than five hours of training per day and a singularly re-focused mindset, Victor "Vikingo" Terrazas is back on a raiding party to win another world crown. His last bout was on  August 23rd 2013, when he lost the WBC super bantamweight to Leo Santa Cruz in Carson California via third round KO.

He was also hit by some health problems, which prevented him from immediately returning to the ring.

From January until now, he has shed 15 kilograms and is thoroughly preparing for a climb up into the featherweight division.

“Thank God, I got doctor's approval. I was delayed due to surgery. I had a magnificent rehabilitation and I'm fine. I feel pretty good to train again and I want to get back into the ring. I want to be world champion again.”

However Victor acknowledges it won' t be an immediately easy task to get back to the top, as this division sports some great fighters including Abner Mares, Jhonny  Gonzalez, Nonito Donaire, Nicholas Walters, Vasyl Lomachenko and his old foe Christian Mijares, who's also moved up.

Determined to write a new chapter in his ongoing saga Vikingo vowed... by Odin:

“I'm going to make history in this sport. I still don’t have a date, but I've  already talked with my promoter, Pepe Gomez from Cancun Boxing. That's why I'm training so hard for having a great comeback fight."
