Former WBC super bantamweight champion, Victor "Vikingo" Terrazas, is back training after having two delicate surgeries which left him on the ropes in 2014 and 2015.

“Doctors have given me the green light, and  I'm back at work. I'm currently in the weight shedding phase,” Terrazas said.

"The groin surgeries were to correct some problems I had, as hernias and cysts.  I'm now feeling brand new. No pain, just gain.”

"Vikingo" (37-3, 21 KOs) commented: "Thank you to God,  as  he gave me the opportunity to keep doing what I like the most.  I'm keen to meet  Mr. Mauricio Sulaiman soon, so I can chat with him regarding big plans.”

The last time Terrazas was in the ring, he was knocked out in August within three rounds when he was defending his WBC belt against mandatory challenger Leo Santa Cruz at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. That loss snapped a ten fight win streak which includes an upsets of former champions Fernando Montiel and Cristian Mijares.
