BAKERSFIELD - Former WBC welterweight world champion Victor Ortiz (32-6-2, 25 KOs) returned for the first time since last April's knockout loss in his rematch with Andre Berto, with a fourth round knockout of Saul Corral (25-10, 16 KOs).

Junior middleweight Nathaniel Gallimore dropped Justin DeLoach twice en route to a knockout victory after the fifth round. Gallimore (19-1-1, with 16 KOs) dropped DeLoach with a left hook near the end of the opening round. Gallimore would drop DeLoach again, this time with a right-left combination to the head in the second round. DeLoach attempted to rally, but none of his punches seemed to have any effect on Gallimore. A barrage of punches wobbled DeLoach (17-2, with 9 KOs) at the end of the fifth round. After the fifth round, and after consulting with the ringside physician, DeLoach's corner told referee Zac Young to stop the fight.

In a swing bout, featherweight Adam Lopez won a six round majority decision over Paul Romero. Ochoa (8-0, with 3 KOs) was the more-effective fighter during the first half of the fight, but the shorter Romero (7-1-1, with 1 KO) did his best work in the final two rounds. One judge scored the bout 57-57, while the other two judges scored the bout 58-56 in favor of Lopez.

Live results from Rabobank Theatre - Lightweight prospect and 2016 U.S. Olympian Carlos Balderas (2-0, 2 KOs) scored a one-punch knockout victory over Eder Amaro Fajardo. A left hook to the body dropped Fajardo (3-4, with 2 KOs) to the canvas. Referee Marcos Rosales counted Fajardo out at 1:36 of the opening round.

Alejandro Guerrero (4-0, with 3 KOs) stopped veteran Matt Murphy (2-15-3, with 2 KOs) at 2:35 of the fourth and final round. Guerrero is trained by Robert Garcia.

Welterweight prospect Eimantas Stanionis (2-0, with 2 KOs), who is trained by Freddie Roach, stopped Isaac Freeman (3-6-1, with 3 KOs) in the third round. Stanionis broke down Freeman throughout the bout until referee Zac Young stopped the bout at 50 seconds of the third round.

Welterweight Money Powell IV (3-0, with 2 KOs) won a four round unanimous decision over Carlos Lozano (7-7, 4 KOs) who was deducted a point in round two for hitting Powell IV on the break. All three judges scored the bout 40-35 in favor of Powell IV.

Middleweight Oluwafemi Oyeleye (3-0, with 1 KO) stopped Uriel Gonzalez (1-1-1, with 1 KO) at 1:52 of the opening round.
