Super featherweight prospect Victor Morales Jr. (12-0) will return to the ring for his 4th fight of 2019 this Saturday night when he faces Ramiro Robles (15-9-2) in Indio, Calif. The bout will take place on the Andrew Cancio versus Rene Alvarado undercard that will be streamed live by DAZN.

So far Morales is 3-0 with 2 knockouts this year and plans on closing the year with a bang. As he heads into his 13th professional fight he said that he is stronger and more comfortable than at any other point in his career.

"I am feeling great. This is probably the best camp I have had yet, getting stronger, getting faster. Just settling in to my position as a pro getting ready for my 13th fight. I am just getting more comfortable as a pro and I know bigger things are coming so I am just more settled down. Camp has gotten more fun and more intense," Morales told BoxingScene.com.

All fights for a young prospect are important but there is an added pressure for Morales as this will be his first fight under the Golden Boy Promotions banner.  The Washington native recently signed a long term promotional pact.

"It was my childhood dream to work with Oscar and sign with Golden Boy Promotions and now I am signed with them and fighting on a huge card so there will be a lot of people and a lot of fireworks," Morales explained.

The 21-year-old knows that he will have an aggressive opponent in front of him and he says that is ready for anything Robles brings to the ring.  He revealed that the plan is to exploit his opponent's mistakes and that he doesn't expect the fight to go the full 8 rounds.

"He is a southpaw and a Mexican and he is going to try to make me look bad. He is going to come forward and try to counter so my job is to go in there and perform and hopefully get him out of there early," Morales stated.

Morales knows that he must continue to work hard in the gym to achieve all of his goals and that the next phase of his career starts on Saturday.  Now that he has his managerial team combined with his Golden Boy Promotions, Morales knows that everything is in place and he just has to concentrate on improving and continuing to pile up victories.

"They signed me and I told Robert Diaz that we had done all the work but now all the real work now starts. I am going to put in the extra work that I am going to need for the future and the real work will get started," said Morales.
