Former WBA world champion Nikolai Valuev saw no reason to watch Vitali Klitschko's recent defense of the WBC championship. Vitali traveled to Poland to batter Tomasz Adamek until the fight was stopped in the tenth round. Talking with Dmitry Grebenshikov, Valuev said there was a lot more interest  and intrigue in Wladimir Klitschko's July fight with David Haye.

"I didn't watch the live broadcast of Klitschko-Adamek. To be honest, I had no desire to watch the fight, ibecause there was no plot. The result confirmed this assumption. Adamek has not had a chance of being able to compete with Klitschko. The intrigue in this fight was completely absent. For example, Wladimir's fight with David Haye, there was enough interest to make you watch. There was intrigue, and that attracted me," Valuev said.
