Junior welterweight prospect Mike Reed improved to 16-0 with a TKO win over Antonio Canas (10-3). The time of the stoppage was 1:28 of the 5th round. Reed dominated from the opening bell, dropping Canas once.

2012 Olympic Gold medalist Egor Mekhontsev (10-0) survived a knockdown and a few rocky moments to keep his perfect record intact with an unanimous decision victory against Jackson Junior (18-4) of Brazil in their light heavyweight bout. Mekhontsev hit the canvas in the 6th round and rose to his feet on very shaky legs. He was able to hold on and finish the round and regroup. The final tallies were 77-73, and 77-74 twice.

Lightweight Frankie Winton (1-1), who fights out of WBO super lightweight champion Terence Crawford's gym, was upset in the opening bout by Thomas Smith (1-1-1). Winton was knocked down once and lost 40-35 on all three scorecards.
