The World Boxing Organization (WBO) President, Francisco Valcarcel, Esq., arrived in Buenos Aires to celebrate the “WBO Kids Drug Free” (WKDF) Program that the organization sponsors throughout the world.   On this occasion, together with the Boxing Federation of Argentina (BFA), the WBO will collaborate with the “Fundación Temas” (Foundation Themes – Work, Education, Environment, and Health), that works in the 21/24 Villa de Barracas of the Argentinean capital. 100 children will receive backpacks and school supplies, while another group of 70 children all representing the pugilistic gyms, will be given sportswear. Bags, gloves, mitts, headgear, ropes and hand wraps will also be included in the donation.  The ONG “Revivir” group, directly involved with ending addictions, will receive the same boxing equipment as the other boxing gyms.

In addition, the WBO will provide sports apparel to both the male and female members of the Argentine selection.  The event will be held next Saturday, April 24th at 5 PM, in the Icaro Fruscas Room of the BFA Stadium.  WBO President, known as “Paco”, together with Osvaldo Rafael Bisbal, President of the Argentinean Boxing Federations and WBO Latino President, Jorge Eugenio Molina, will hold a Press Conference to present WBO Mini-Flyweight Female Champion, Yessica Bopp with her championship belt, and also honor trainer.
